Coaches are superheroes. You might not run into a burning building, but you burn calories every day. You might not lift cars, but you do lift up your clients’ spirits.
Still, there are a league of “supervillains” that your clients need help defeating once and for all. Let’s roll through each one and see what you can do to save the day—and their fitness prospects.
Low Self-Esteem
Instill self-belief in every one of your clients. A lot of your clients might have very low self-confidence, but after exercising and getting their mojo back, their life changes. They’re not afraid to go open a business or ask for that promotion they deserve.
Low Energy
Give your clients the energy boost they need. Just think, how many of your clients come in with zapped energy levels? They’re completely exhausted from the day-to-day grind. But once they go to boot camp on a regular basis, they feel so much better. They finally have the energy to play with their kids and do the things they love.
Medications
You want your workouts to be so effective that they reduce, and even eliminate, the amount of medicine your clients take. Additionally, your workouts should lower your clients’ risk of getting diabetes, heart disease, and other serious illnesses.
Body Image Issues
Body image issues are a big deal for your clients. They might hate what they look like, so they don’t put themselves out there, online or in the real world. Our workouts help our clients view themselves in a positive light, as they accept who they are and work towards change at the same time.
Bad Relationship with Food
Educate your clients on the importance of eating healthy. Your clients might turn to food when they’re in an emotional state, whether that’s to celebrate something or to forget about a bad day. We teach them that food is NOT a band-aid for life’s worst moments and that eating clean is essential to their health
False Hopes
Your job is to teach your clients what it takes to lose weight and keep it off. All those pills, powders, potions, and crazy infomercial gadgets prey on people that want to lose weight. With your guidance, your clients will build the habits that will lead them to a healthier, longer-lasting way of life—without the need for any questionable shortcuts.
