How to Build a Relationship with New Clients and Ask for Referrals

So let’s talk about building relationships—one of the things Fit Body Boot Camp does better than the rest. Relationships strengthen culture, which we talked about in the previous section. Here are some questions you can use to get to know your clients right away.

“What Is Your Training Background?”

Some people come from no experience whatsoever. Others come into boot camp with 10 years of experience under their belt, having already tried out a bunch of different training programs. It’s great to find out how much workout experience they have so you can tailor their fitness plan accordingly.

“What Are You Trying to Achieve?”

Know your client’s goals so you know what they ultimately want out of your coaching. That way, you can customize their nutrition so they can reach their desired outcome.

“Do You Have Any Pre-Existing Injuries?”

Do they have knee, shoulder, or back pain? We want to be conscious of their physical limitations when we put them through a boot camp session.
